Riding the Highline is a short documentary film about poet brothers Kai and Anders Carlson-Wee. The film premiered this month at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs conference in Minneapolis. Check out the trailer here!

Kai Carlson-Wee‘s work has appeared in Narrative, Best New Poets, 32 Poems, and The Missouri Review, which selected a group of his poems for the 2013 Jeffery E. Smith Editor’s Prize. A former Wallace Stegner Fellow, he lives in San Francisco, California, and is a Jones Lecturer in poetry at Stanford University.
Anders Carlson-Wee is a 2015 NEA Fellow. He is the winner of Ninth Letter‘s 2014 Poetry Award and New Delta Review‘s 2014 Editors’ Choice Prize. His work has appeared or is forthcoming in New England Review, The Missouri Review, The Southern Review, West Branch, Prairie Schooner, Blackbird, Best New Poets 2012 & 2014, and elsewhere. Anders is currently an MFA candidate at Vanderbilt University.
